Good morning SC fans,
I hope that you are all safe and warm and that all that you hold dear are safe and warm also, we are so lucky in some parts of Cornwall not to be to badly affected by the snow.
I must confess I actually love the snow, I know its dangerous for those of us that have to comute and for the senior folk, but i really do love it because, of stillness and calm that always comes before the snow, its like nature is waiting in anticipation for those fluffy white flakes to fall, thats my favorite bit, you see I am one of those people who doesn't mind the cold, I know what your thinking, mad woman talking........ anyhoo thats enough of the crazies lol, and onward with this weeks challenge.
This weeks challenge theme Is Christmas, and was chosen by the lovely and talented Suzie, Christmas I can't wait only 21days away, whoo hoo, so sorry folks I'm off on a tangent again, I am so full of waffle today aren't I, he he, please have patience I will get there I promise, lol, Oh and if you have the time check out the other talented ladies blogs for some fabulous inspiration.
This is my card for this week folks and this is what I used Christmas Sledding from The Secret Crafter, I absolutely love this image its so full of fun, I coloured the image with Copics and used a TH Distress ink around the outside and some Stickles glitter glue (Diamond) , and did an out of the frame Nestie, the background papers are from MMEye and the doily is a Marianne Creatable die so I colour co-ordinated, and the pretty little Roses are from my crafty stash.
I wish I had enough snow to go sledding, it would be so cool to have a klondike sled or a rig and go mushing with Buzz how much fun would that be to travel your usual route via dog.
So for now Peeps wishing you all a warm and safe weekend, and I hope that life returns to normal for all of you that are badly affected by the snow,
Items I used :
Christmas Sledding
Marianne Creatable
Stickles
TH Distress Ink
Oval Nestabilities
Copic markers
MM Eye papers
Ribbon
Take care friends and keep warm big hugs Bridget ;) X,
