Using my stash

Apologies for the long post!!!!

Hello friends I hope you are all well and having a great week so far?

Can I ask a personal question?

Do you have a stamp stash that you have yet to use? I do!

And this year was it I was going to use things from my stash

and let me tell you, so far its going swimmingly....... Not !!

I have bought quite a few new things.... I'm so weak when it comes to craft supplies,

although the two cards I'm about to share with you are from that very stash!

I bought these little cuties sometime late last year I want to say November

but I'm not completely sure. I purchased these

from Amy Gould over at Crafty Purple Frog she is so lovely

and helpful. The set is called Miss Anya Birthday I coloured images

with copics and both backgrounds were made using Tim Holtz

distress oxides, using Sun Rays stencil from Whimsy Stamps, to look like party lights.

and the checkered stencil is so old I cannot remember where I purchased it

to make the floor,

The blue pink background was made using I'd guess you'd  call it

the swooshing technique, then using MFT Hugs Die

I made a shaker element on the card. The birthday is from

Honey Bee Stamps Bitty Buzzwords Words dies.

I have entered these into the following fun challenges

Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenge: #2306 Always anything goes
Creative Moments Challenge: # 242 Interactive Cards ( the blue card shaker element)
Polkadoodles Challenge: # Wk 6 Card making & Crafting ATG
The Corrosive Challenge: # 2 Anything goes.

Thank you for being so patient its a long post
and thank you so so much for stopping by! it really means so much.
Have a lovely rest of the week my friends
much love
Hugs Bridget

  1. Both beautiful cards Bridget, the stamps are adorable, your colouring is exceptional and I love your background designs..
I refuse to answer the question about unused stash on the grounds that I will incriminate myself! I'm saying no more...

  2. Such a great way to use stencils! I keep forgetting about having them, I should definitelly use them more. Both of your cards are fantastic!
To answer your question ... I have quite a few stamps that I've never inked. And that's even after a year (if not more) of not purchasing any. *ooops* I'm trying to use the stuff I already have (including papers, embellishments etc.) before I buy anything new.
