A Cuddly Ride.....

Good morning blog friends how are you
fine folk today?. My post today is a day late
I should have done this yesterday but I totally forgot!

I am such a numpty sometimes lol.

I think I might have picked
up a virus because all I wanted to do yesterday was sleep,
I have a bit of a sore throat and achy muscles I think it might be stress
because we had a funeral to attend on Friday.

Our 19 year old cat Nahla had a bit of a funny turn yesterday

its the second funny turn she's had in a month, she seem's to have recovered
a little this morning, I think she is suffering from mini Strokes
she was so stressed and scared when i approached her last night her eyes
were wide her tail was all frizzed out and she didn't recognise me,
although she full of purrs this morning,  I think she is due a trip to the vets
and we will ask for the best course of treatment.

Here is my DT card from Whimsy Stamps

I have used the oh so sweet Cuddly Ride from
Wee Stamps by illustrator Silva Zet ,
I coloured with Copics and  the sentiment was free with
Papercraft Inspirations magazine I'm sure it said that the free gift
was from Whimsy Stamps, but I'm going back to like 2009/10 lol,

I tried to be a little creative with trying a
different fold as well as
showing you amazing folk just how versatile Whimsy stamps are
because they will go with everything in your crafty stash.

I have mixed cuddle ride with Hero Art clear polymer
border stamps and  a floral Polymer clear stamps from
Rochelle Ann Miller.

Have a lovely Banh Holiday my friends
See you all later in the week

Sounds of Summer

Hello my lovelies how are you? it a miserable day here in Cornwall
today its a drizzly grey dull day.
Its a little difficult to think of summer when the day
is as it is lol.

The card I'm sharing today is a summer themed card
using Whimsy Stamps Art by Mi Ran the is image called
Sounds of Summer.

I coloured this adorable image with Polychromos
and used these bright citrus tones, mainly because it made
me think of a tall glass of lemonade with lots of ice and a slice of lime lol.

I can remember going down to the beach and trying with all
my might to find a shell to to put against my ear so i could listen
to the waves breaking on the rocks, it was magical.
I would imagine maybe a Mermaid sitting on the rocks combing her hair
or a Pirate Ship hiding in a cove along our golden coastline,
Oh to be innocent of the world again, this would be a magical thing now.

Have a lovely weekend my friends and
thank you so much for stopping by it means a lot lot to me.
