Them Buttons and Bows at the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge 115.

Happy New Year Secret Crafter Fans.

I hope you all a fabulous Christmas and got lots of lovely crafty bits to play with, and have you set any New Years Resolutions for yourselves? Is it me or did 2010 go way to fast, I can barely remember the summer months, although I do remember being asked to be on the DT, it was the best day of summer for me.

So on with the first challenge of 2011 and the theme for this weeks challenge is Buttons and Bows and was set by little ole me, I thought to myself what better way to show of those lovely new Christmas pressies than with buttons and bows of even if you have a new stamp with some buttons and bows on you could use that.

My DT card this week I made using a Marianne Die for the main body, the image is a New Baby image from Mo's Digital pencil, I used nesties to frame the image, and for the background I used some Cricut dual tone card in my Cricut to make a 41/2" circle then I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder then aged the embossing with some sandpaper, I coloured the image with Copic Markers and gave it some extra depth or shading using a polychromos Sepia pencil and a paper stump and Sansodor, just to take the plainness off the card I added the button and bows just of centre to give it a little twist,  also peeps check out the other amazing creations from my DT buddies, they are all very inspirational.

So peeps have a great Saturday and thanks for joining us on this the very 1st Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge on the very 1st day of what is going to be a fabulous New Year.

Take care and have a very healthy and prosperous year, hugs Bridget. x
